Expanded information on the master plan

It is gratifying to know how much interest there is in the ‘Richtprojekt’ (master plan), which is why we are delighted to arrange an additional viewing of the model and plans. In addition, the monitoring of issues raised through public participation has been updated. The posters, as presented on 26 November, are now also available to download from our website.

Additional ‘Richtprojekt’ viewing dates.
Due to popular demand, we are offering another opportunity to view the model as well as the plans, visualisations and posters relating to the ‘Richtprojekt’, as presented on 26 November 2025:

Thursday, 15 January 2026, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
Venue: Building K-141, Klybeckstrasse 141 (near Dreirosenbrücke)
Meeting point: Reception on the ground floor.

Issues raised through public participation have been updated on the QEK platform since the end of November. On our klybeckplus neighbourhood development (QEK) platform, a monitoring system systematically records questions and suggestions from the public, as well as current levels of knowledge. The planning partners updated the responses and explanations at the end of November 2025, meaning that many of the questions raised can now be answered with specific details.

Launched in December 2024, the platform brings together information on public participation since the start of the planning work. It will also document the outcomes of future public consultation initiatives. Furthermore, the platform provides an opportunity for participation and dialogue. A comments section allows you to respond directly and engage in dialogue with the planning partners. QEK is a joint initiative by the planning partners – the canton of Basel-Stadt, Swiss Life, and Rhystadt – which aims to foster an active community life.

The minutes of the klybeckplus dialogue group are also available on the QEK website. Until the plans are put out for public consultation, all planning partners and around 20 other individuals from the local community and local organisations are volunteering their time under the leadership of the Department of Construction and Transport, and engaging in lively discussions with the planners. Five meetings of the dialogue group are planned for 2025 and 2026.
